Exactly as expected, can’t speak as to longevity, but the season starts in a week.

Great product - saved our season

My duck blind is way out of the water due to the drought we are seeing so I had to come up with another option. We took two layers of the Dead Duck and let me just say it lived up to its name. Season is over and I am glad I purchased the netting, it really helped save our season.

You can see in the picture our old blind which is dry and our quick fix with the Dead Duck. Just understand that like with all camo netting, it is not thick enough for just a single layer.

Thin but great as a concealment blanket

When used single-ply, these nets are a bit more see-through than I had imagined after shopping them. However, the very 3D and irregular lay of the cut bits chop up whatever is hidden below pretty well. This 'dead duck' color has no pattern of color on the back side, it's simply dark brown. The cut pattern of the camo print on the front makes it so you see a pattern of colors from either direction when deployed, with the reverse side being mostly dark with flecks of the camo colors. I ordered this as well as the "desert" color, and fastened them together to have multiple color options to use as a lightweight concealment blanket for waterfowl. The colors looks pretty good outside, not too shiny. Very lightweight and packable. An added benefit of the thinness is that you can easily see through even a double layer of these, to keep track of incoming birds. I have successfully harvested several geese decoying in while hidden under this blanket in so I am quite satisfied.
